Breathing a little hope into a world that is hurting and broken.
The picture above shows an archway for a driveway I saw when I was in the UK/Ireland. I don’t remember where exactly I was when I saw this, but every single time I see it now, I feel like I’m about to start a new journey.I’ve created these posts to take readers on a journey away from the harsh realities we face in our everyday lives.
We live in a hurting and broken world. No matter which direction we look, there is always something going wrong.
These past few years have been encapsulated the saying, “If it can go wrong, it will go wrong.” It’s hard to grab on to hope when everything around us seems to be broken and just plain wrong.
It’s my aim to breathe a little hope back into the world, especially for our teens and tweens who are already dealing with so much.
I hope that even if you’re not quite sure about what I’m saying, that you’ll give me a chance!
Talk to me! 😊
Though you can still access these posts in the archive, I will be taking a break from these posts for a while.

Merriam-Webster describes peace as “freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions”. I agree. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t still negative events in or aspects to our lives. It doesn’t mean we never have “disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions”. I know we wish that was the case. It would make life much moreContinue reading “Hope :: When Peace is Possible”
The LORD gave me this message: “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”“O Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!”The LORD replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for youContinue reading “Weekend Whispers :: Jeremiah 1:4-8”
